New Irish Musician Mealla Tarrant

I'm really
happy to present a new up and coming music
star coming from
Ireland. Her name is Mealla Tarrant, she's
twenty two years old, and her
style and skill is
starting to raise a few eyebrows and turn several heads within the Irish
music world. Mealla Tarrant started out in music
just like alot of other
music artists, performing covers of well known
artists and popular
music artists and
submitting her videos on social media site like Youtube etc..
Mealla Tarrant Music will be her first
genuine endeavor to bring her
new music to a brand new
audience, and together with her very long awaited 1st
recorded EP soon to be
released, their
is no doubt that this
skilled young
Irish musician will
quickly become a household name.But

Tarrant herself.
Hi
Everybody my name is Mealla Tarrant (Mel-ah).
I am from Ireland. And basically I play acoustic guitar and also create songs instead of studying
for school. I have been placing quite a lot of covers
of my favourite and a number of
very well-liked
tunes on the Net together with my unique acoustic and
vocal twist. I also have
my originals published too
which usually a
good number of folks seem
to like and just lately I
was given a chance to put them on a CD.

I was
recently signed by a modest record label in Germany (Hamachingo Records)
which in turn is extremely
exciting, and along
with them I have created my
first EP. My EP with is
expected for release in July 2011
and I am so ecstatic about this
gigantic break. The EP is four of
my own original songs, and I experienced the
greatest week of my
lifetime recording it
in January of this year. All of my covers and originals are online
video streamed on my personal wordpress
blog and are also
offered for complimentary download in Mp3 format and MP4
format, on my own blog website so
you can easily listen and
appreciate all of them
right away
entirely 100 % free.
I love
travelling, clubbing, driving
a car at night, old black and white
films, drinking lots and lots of tea and
of course, songwriting.
My influences tend
to be vast as well as varied
hinging upon my moods,
yet Id have to say
that the most influential performers for me are John Mayer, Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones
and Feist. I try and create their sound
but also attempt to keep it
primarily acoustic, so I can
perform their particular style at
performances without needing a
whole lot of equipment such as
Amps etc!
I'd
really love to have an album someday as well as start
working together with various
musicians, both on the Net
and in recording.
So far I have
performed generally
small-scale gigs and events
in Ireland like pubs, night clubs
and modest locations.
My biggest
fantasy would be to participate in a summer music
festival at some point, in Ireland or
overseas. So for right now, I'll
keep covering songs that my
close friends and
followers call for and
producing my own songs in the
